Warranty Statement

Hongdian warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period starting from the date of shipment.
Warranty duration varies by product category. Eligible products may be refunded, exchanged, or repaired at Hongdian’s discretion.


General Product Warranty Period

  • Default: 2 year.

 

Warranty Coverage

  • During the applicable warranty period, defective products may be repaired or replaced at Hongdian’s discretion.
  • If a product is found defective within 30 days of receipt and was properly installed and used, it will be considered defective on arrival.
  • Replacement products will be configured as originally purchased.
  • Customers are responsible for data backup, recovery, and software reinstallation. Hongdian is not liable for any data loss.

Warranty period for repaired or replaced products is the longer of:

  • 3 months from the repair/replacement date; or
  • The remainder of the original warranty period

 

Warranty Conditions

This warranty applies only to defects occurring during normal use. The following are not covered:

  1. Products modified in ways not described in the official user manuals.
  2. Products that have been repainted, rebranded, or physically altered.
  3. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or natural disasters (e.g., lightning, flood, earthquake, fire).
  4. Defects discovered after the warranty has expired.
  5. Products reworked, updated, or improperly tested by the customer or a third party.
  6. Products with altered or damaged serial numbers.
  7. Damage caused by power surges, improper power supply, voltage fluctuations, corrosive environments, or vibration.
  8. Non-compliance with local frequency or output power regulations.
  9. Damage resulting from the use of third-party hardware, software, or firmware.

 

Return Procedure

  • Products returned without a valid RMA number or proof of purchase will not be processed and may be disposed of.
  • To obtain an RMA number, please contact shop@hongdian.com and provide the required information.

 

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

  1. Customers are responsible for all shipping and customs charges when sending products to Hongdian.
  2. Repair costs will be issued via Proforma Invoice for customer approval before work begins.
  3. Payment must be made as specified in the proforma invoice.
  4. If the repair is declined, the defective product will be returned at the customer’s risk and expense.

 

Processing Time

  • From receipt of the RMA product, diagnosis, repair, and return may take up to 4 weeks.
  • For urgent requests, please indicate this in your return documentation.
